Li Keqiang met with British Foreign Secretary

 Chinese Premier Li Keqiang met with British Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond Wednesday, saying China's current economic transition provides opportunities for cooperation with Britain.

One key feature of the transition is a transit from overdependence on natural resources to more dependence on human resources and innovation, Li said.

"We encourage mass entrepreneurship and innovation and put more emphasis on developing the emerging service industry on the basis of continuing lifting the traditional manufacturing industry, which will provide great opportunities for China-Britain cooperation," Li told Hammond.

China will continue to open up, ease market access and give equal treatment to Chinese and foreign enterprises, the premier vowed.

Speaking highly of the development of the China-Britain relationship, Li said President Xi Jinping had a successful visit to Britain last year.

China is willing to maintain a high-level exchange of visits with Britain, integrate the two countries' development strategies, enhance cooperation in areas including innovation, finance and nuclear energy, he said.

Li also called on both countries to step up coordination in international affairs and jointly safeguard regional stability and world peace.

Hammond said Britain is excited to grasp the opportunities brought by China's economic transition, pushing forward cooperation in nuclear energy, finance, science and technology, innovation and medicine.
He said Cameron expects to visit China this year.
According to a press release issued by the Chinese Foreign Ministry Tuesday after a meeting between Hammond and his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi, China is looking forward to Cameron attending the G20 summit in China's Hangzhou this autumn, and welcomes him to visit China at a mutually convenient time to hold a bilateral annual prime ministerial meeting.

though a severe case of Lyme disease left Avril Lavigne bedridden five months, the singer says she's surprisingly thankful for the experience.

"Sometimes it takes instances like this to put things in perspective," says Lavigne, 30. "So in a way, I am grateful for all of this."

For the singer – who has worked nonstop since she was 17 when her debut album Let Go went platinum – being forced to step away from work was a blessing and changed her priorities.


"I've never had this much time off in my life," she says. "And I've never been more clear about what I want in life – health, family, love, happiness."

Her illness, which she contracted sometime last spring, also forced her to make some positive changes to her lifestyle.

"[My diet is] sugar-free, dairy-free, gluten-free, all organic. I juice three times a day," says Lavigne, who adds that she is about "80 percent" better now.

"I do yoga, meditate and try to swim or walk every day. It's really up and down – you get better, then you get worse, then better."

I'm a very private person," she says. "But I can't just sit here and do nothing. I want to help people, and the first thing is bringing more awareness to Lyme disease … People don't really talk about the disease, and help can be minuscule."

Judge disqualifies US Attorney's office from sex abuse case

A federal judge has granted a motion by a Fort Yates man seeking to disqualify the North Dakota U.S. Attorney's Office from his case.
A federal jury in November found Donald Luger guilty of aggravated sexual abuse by use of force. Authorities say the assault took place against a 12-year-old girl in 1997.
Luger has argued former U.S. Attorney Timothy Purdon represented him in a 2009 criminal case and that gave the government an unfair advantage in the sexual abuse proceedings.
District Judge Ralph Erickson granted Luger's motion to disqualify the office from the case this week.
Luger's attorney Duane Cates says the government could appeal or hire a special prosecutor to handle the case.
Luger's sentencing remains scheduled for May 8th in Bismarck.

 Denver’s curfew ordinance is now in effect and police already have caught teens breaking the rules.
Police issued three tickets to teens who blew the curfew Friday night.
Ruby Valdez of Denver worries about her 15-year-old daughter breaking the 11 p.m. curfew during the week, or the midnight curfew Friday and Saturday.
“There’s really not that much I think you can do about that, so my daughter runs away sometimes,” she said.
Youth that break curfew during the active enforcement period of April through September are transported to the Denver Juvenile Services Center through the Denver SafeNite Program, which is an alternative to putting the youth through the court system.

1. 20 % posts in the cadre of Junior Clerk and Naib Qasid have been reserved for the children of working /retired employees in BS-01 to 07 of Civil/Sessions Courts, Faisalabad. If none is available for appointment against the reserved quota, these posts shall be filled in through direct recruitment on the basis of open merit. Rules & Regulations.
a) Candidates can download application form along with the Deposit slip of Rs. 500/- for the posts of Stenographers, Junior Clerks, care takers and Data Entry Operators and Rs:250/- for the posts of Naib Qasid, Cook and Sweepers directly from the NTS website (www.nts.org.pk)
b) Test shall be held at Faisalabad (Date, Time and venue will be intimated on the Roll No. slips and NTS website).
c) Applications should reach in the NTS Islamabad office till 27th April, 2015 through post. The applications received after the due date will be rejected forthwith. Application through fax will not be entertained.
Eligible candidates list shall be uploaded on NTS website after 7 days on receipt of applications. NTS shall send roll number slip to the candidates at their postal addresses. In case, any candidate could not receive roll Number slip till 08th May, 2015, he/she may download it from NTS website (www.nts.org.pk)
d) The candidates are required to specifically mention in their application as to whether their relative is already working in Civil/Session court, Faisalabad and if his relative is already working, the candidate will submit an affidavit on a stamp paper mentioning the name and designation and relationship with the said employee.
e) The candidate already serving in government or semi government will apply through proper channel or append NOC of the said department with their application.
f) The candidates are required to attach their two recent passport size photograph, attested copies of their educational certificate, CNIC and domicile. They will bring original testimonials at the time of interview. Incomplete applications will be treated as rejected.
g) Independent applications will be submitted for each quota.
h) Only those candidates having the required qualification will be allowed to participate in the written test.
i) After short list out of the successful candidate in the test will be called for interview.
j) No TA/DA will be given to the candidates.
